This particular piece of maple would be described as curly maple due to the flecking you can see in the pictures. No trees were felled in the making of this pen. The wood is harvested from trees that fall naturally in the forest.This is a postable pen meaning the cap can be attached to the opposite end of the pen when unscrewed.
